Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and rescue dog.

Persavich was born and raised in Indiana. She received her undergraduate degree from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, where she also played on the Division I golf team. She then earned her master’s degree from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. She returned to Indiana for her medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine. She went on to complete her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Carolinas Medical Center, where she served as the administrative chief resident and was recognized for surgical excellence.

Persavich has enjoyed her calling to women’s health and finds each relationship uniquely rewarding. Outside the workplace, she loves spending time with her husband, son and daughter. Her hobbies include arts and crafts, biking, water sports and golfing.

Deane-Wyman and Persavich are both board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and are Fellows of the American College of Obstetrics. They worked together in private practice in Charlotte for several years before opening Queen City OB/GYN.
