The Great 100 Inc., founded in 1988 and based in Greensboro, North Carolina, is a grassroots peer recognition organization that seeks to honor the nursing profession. Every year, the program honors 100 registered nurses across North Carolina who demonstrate excellence in practice and commitment to their profession. Great 100 also raises funds to provide scholarships for individuals who want to pursue nursing as a career.

Each of these nurses presents a positive, professional image of nursing and exemplifies what it means to provide exceptional patient care. These nurses will be honored Saturday, Oct. 15, during the 2016 Great 100 gala at the Koury Convention Center in Greensboro, North Carolina.
