The Great 100 Inc., founded in 1988 and based in Greensboro, North Carolina, is a grassroots peer recognition organization that seeks to honor the nursing profession. Every year, the program honors 100 registered nurses across North Carolina who demonstrate excellence in practice and commitment to their profession. Great 100 also raises funds to provide scholarships for individuals who want to pursue nursing as a career.

Each of these women presents a positive, professional image of nursing and exemplifies what it means to provide exceptional patient care. These women will be honored Oct. 17 during the 2015 Great 100 gala at the Raleigh Convention Center in Raleigh, North Carolina.
