WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. ― Novant Health has been recognized by the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) in the “HealthCare’s Most Wired” program for the third year in a row. Novant Health was one of 16 healthcare organizations out of 16,165 to score a nine out of 10 in both ambulatory and acute care. “HealthCare’s Most Wired” recognizes health care systems for the adoption and strategic application of technology to achieve great outcomes. The “Most Wired” program evaluated the use of technology in multiple areas, including clinical quality and safety, interoperability, population health, patient engagement and analytics and data management.

The award recognizes and honors an organization that demonstrates innovative talent management and organizational development strategies in their delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. Joy Greear, president and chief operating officer of Novant Health Mint Hill Medical Center, and Karen Power, senior vice president of talent at Novant Health, received the award on behalf of Novant Health at the Press Ganey 2019 National Client & Executive Leadership Conferences on Nov. 18 in Orlando, Florida.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Novant Health today announced a partnership with KenSci to implement the company’s AI-based predictive system of insights platform. KenSci will help Novant Health streamline operational efficiencies within the medical centers and improve patients’ overall experiences by effectively informing care teams of patient status when and where it’s most needed. The platform will help Novant Health reduce variations in length of stay and readmissions, as well as dramatically improve patient flow in the emergency department, which will positively impact both inpatient census and patient satisfaction.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Novant Health-GoHealth Urgent Care has opened its newest urgent care center at 105 Hanes Square Circle, replacing the Highland Oaks center that it operated since December of last year. The company moved to Hanes Square in order to provide Winston-Salem residents easier access to a better urgent care experience.
