HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. – Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center broke ground today for its new four-story, 50,000-square-foot hospital wing and 20,000-square-foot renovation project that will include 48 additional patient beds, an operating room, and renovations to several areas. With this $50 million expansion, Huntersville Medical Center will become a 139-bed hospital that is prepared to meet the healthcare needs of one of the fastest-growing communities in the Charlotte area.
“King of the Court” volleyball fundraiser donates over $5,500 to hospital foundation
SALISBURY, N.C. ― Novant Health Rowan Medical Center Foundation partnered with Rowan-Salisbury area high schools to host the second annual King of the Court, a junior and senior all-male volleyball fundraiser. Together, the six area high schools raised over $5,500. All proceeds will be donated to the hospital foundation in support of its breast health fund which covers the cost of mammograms, diagnostic mammograms and ultrasounds for women who are uninsured or underinsured.
DAVIDSON, N.C. – Novant Health is pleased to announce the opening of Novant Health Infectious Disease Specialists in Davidson, North Carolina. The clinic is located at 610 Jetton Street, Suite 214, in the Davidson Commons Shopping Center off exit 30, I-77. The clinic is staffed by Heather C. Michael, MD, who joined Novant Health in October.
