She is driven to help kids and dogs. Dr. Stephanie Richter, a pediatrician at Novant Health Pediatrics Symphony Park has watched a generation of patients grow under her care and she’s now caring for these people’s own children. Richter said the practice of medicine and its demands have changed over the course of the years, but she stills believes in spending the right amount of time with the children she sees. Her other passion is volunteering at the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department Animal Care and Control Shelter. For the last five years, she’s dedicated one day a week socializing and training dogs so they can find forever homes.
