Dr. Edwards believes every person deserves access to quality healthcare, regardless of race, age, ability to pay or any other factor. He pursued family medicine and geriatrics because they allow him to live and serve a small town that was once a rural area, where medical services are vitally needed. After almost 40 years of practice, he's proud to have served multiple generations in the Davie County area. In 2001, he started volunteering for medical mission trips to Honduras and has been co-leading two teams yearly since 2006. He is also a recipient of the North Carolina Order of the Long Leaf Pine Award. Dr. Edwards is married and has four children and five grandchildren. Outside the office, he enjoys swimming, biking, fishing and hiking.
