Novant
Health Forsyth Medical Center exists to improve the health of the
communities we serve. We do this by providing all the facets of
healthcare – the facilities, the technology and the people – to help
everyone who comes to us live full and healthy lives.
We
also take our mission to the community. This includes hundreds of
programs that serve our patients, our neighbors and our community's
most vulnerable citizens. We provide charity and community care,
which includes our financial commitment to providing unreimbursed
health services regardless of one's ability to pay.
Forsyth
Medical Center sponsors community health education and support
groups; partnerships with other organizations to provide outreach
services; community events and screenings. And we participate in
medical research and academic health programs.
Our
outreach programs are either donated or provided at little cost – a
commitment that comes from our heritage as a not-for-profit
organization.
Wellness
programs
We
offer a broad range of programs and services to support individual
and workforce wellness, including health risk assessments,
Lunch-n-Learns, wellness coaching, preventive screenings and weight
management programs.
