Check-In Process

We want to keep everyone comfortable and safe! If you are coming to Village Point Family Medicine for a well visit and do not have symptoms such as fever, GI symptoms or respiratory symptoms, you are welcome to walk inside for check in and wait in our lobby. However, we are asking that if you have a fever, cough, congestion, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or any other respiratory or GI symptoms when you arrive for an appointment that you call the office at 336-893-2420 to let a team member know you are here. At that time, we will check you in for your appointment over the phone by reviewing some COVID safety questions, verifying demographic and insurance information, and collecting your co-pay if you have one. Once you have been checked in, our clinical team will clean and prepare an exam room for you while you wait in your car. Once your room is ready, you will receive a phone call from a clinical team member who will review a few more safety questions with you and then you will be asked to head to the front door where the clinical team member will meet you, offer you a mask if you do not have one, and bring you directly to your exam room.
