Novant Health Triad Endocrine – Greensboro provides diagnosis of, treatment of and management for a variety of endocrine conditions. These conditions often arise from overactive or underactive endocrine glands, including the thyroid, pituitary and adrenal glands, as well as cancerous and noncancerous endocrine tumors. When these glands produce abnormal amounts of hormones, basic body functions including metabolism, cell growth and sexual function are affected. Our providers listen to your concerns and use advanced diagnostic tools such as ultrasound-guided thyroid biopsies and fine needle aspirations to quickly provide an accurate diagnosis. Our goal is to begin treatment or management without delay.

Conditions we regularly treat include:

  • Diabetes mellitus (where the body does not produce the insulin required to regulate blood sugar)
  • Hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid)
  • Hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid)
  • Goiter (enlarged thyroid gland)
  • Thyroid nodules (fluid-filled or solid lumps on the thyroid)
  • Thyroid cancer
  • Pituitary tumors (noncancerous or cancerous growths on the pituitary gland, located below the brain and above the nasal passage)
  • Adrenal tumors (noncancerous or cancerous growths on the adrenal glands, located just above the kidneys)
