Conditions we regularly assess and treat include:

  • Asthma (a respiratory condition that makes breathing difficult)
  • Bronchitis (inflammation of the bronchial tubes that often causes coughing)
  • Emphysema (a condition where damaged air sacs in the lungs cause breathlessness)
  • Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD; a condition in which constricted airways regularly cause difficulty or discomfort in breathing)
  • Pulmonary fibrosis (a lung disease caused by damaged or scarred lung tissue)
  • Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS; a condition in which fluid leaks into the lungs, making breathing difficult)
  • Cystic fibrosis (a hereditary disease in which the body produces thick mucous that can clog the lungs)
  • Sleep apnea (interruptions in breathing during sleep)

  • Interventional bronchoscopy (a group of minimally invasive procedures aimed at improving lung function)
  • Sleep medicine (the evaluation and management of breathing problems, including snoring and sleep apnea, during sleep)
  • Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) prescriptions and management
  • Airway management (a medical procedure done to prevent or lessen airway obstruction)
