If you or someone you care about is living with a mental health condition that is making it difficult to enjoy life or take part in daily activities, Novant Health Psychiatry – SouthPark is here to help. Our providers serve women ages 16 and older. We work to understand your concerns, and how your condition is affecting not just your life but the lives of those you care about. We understand that substance abuse and other lifestyle issues could play a role in your recovery, and we aim to work with you on every one of those issues so your treatment can be as successful as possible.
We offer diagnosis, medicinal management and talk therapy for mental health concerns including:
- Depression
- Bipolar disorder (a condition marked by periods of depression and periods of elevated or manic moods)
- Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD; a disorder making it difficult to pay attention, remain still or not act on impulse)
- Anger and chronic irritability
- Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD; obsessive thoughts that trigger unwanted thoughts or repetitive actions)
- Schizophrenia (a disorder characterized by hallucinations, delusions and disordered thinking)
- Affective disorders (mood disorders)
- Anxiety disorders
- Perinatal anxiety and depression (anxiety and depression occurring prior to, during and in the year after pregnancy)
