Appointments
So that we can collect necessary information before seeing you or your child, we request that you get a referral from your primary care provider or another provider involved in your care. Once our clinic receives that referral, we will contact you to schedule an appointment.
If you have already seen a provider in our clinic and need to schedule a follow-up visit, you can use MyChart or open scheduling on our provider page to schedule online anytime.
We are open all holidays with the exception of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
If you ever feel you might harm yourself or someone else, or you are concerned a loved one could harm himself or someone else, call 911 or head to your nearest emergency room. You can also contact our Outpatient Assessment Center at 800-718-3550.
New patients
We look forward to seeing you at Novant Health Psychiatric Medicine – Kernersville. Please understand that initial assessments take time. Children will need a parent or guardian present for the initial visit, and that person should be prepared to provide medical, social and behavioral background information for the patient. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your first appointment. Bring with you:
What to bring
- Your photo ID
- Your insurance card, or the insurance card covering your child if your child is the patient
- Your method of copayment or payment in full if insurance will not cover your visit
- Any medications you are currently taking, or your child is currently taking
- Any forms you have completed ahead of time using the links below. These forms will also be available in our office.
