Laura de Leon's road to pediatric medicine started in her own childhood. She always loved science and human interaction, making nursing a good fit for her. Laura was a nurse before becoming a pediatric nurse practitioner. She loves seeing patients of all ages, but her favorites are newborns and toddlers and watching them grow. When she is away from the office, Laura enjoys spending time with her family, including her young son and her Chihuahua, Lola. Time with her family is always the highlight of her day.
