As a graduate of the Reno Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship, I received advanced training in the care of simple and complex extremity trauma in children, adults and geriatric patients sustained from low- and high-energy mechanism. I have additional training and experience in peri-articular fractures, treatment of pelvic and acetabular fractures and surgical management of nonunion, malunion and orthopedic infections.
Providing high quality, cost-conscious and patient-centered orthopedic care is my goal. I received my doctor of medicine from the University of Missouri - Columbia and completed my orthopedic internship and residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I also served as chief resident.
An active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, I have been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at local and national meetings. I believe strongly in partnering with all patients throughout their entire treatment and recovery process, working together to obtain an optimal outcome.
