As an osteopathic physician, Dr. Hamby uses all of the tools available through modern medicine, including prescription medicine. He also relies on osteopathic manipulative medicine to diagnose illness and injury, relieve pain, restore range of motion and enhance the body's capacity to heal. His goal is to help patients improve their health and longevity, and he treats all patients with respect and dignity. At age 9, Dr. Hamby became fascinated with biology and life sciences. He is a tribal Cherokee member from Oklahoma and a military veteran with more than 21 years of civil service. Married since 1989, he has one child who is married. He also has a West Highland terrier named Boo. Outside the office, Dr. Hamby enjoys traveling, all sports, art and cinema.
