Integrative medicine expands traditional cancer care in important ways

The goal of integrative medicine in cancer care is to help ensure that treatment is successful while reducing treatment-related side effects such as fatigue, pain, or weakness and numbness caused by nerve distress. Our staff takes into account the whole person – body, mind, spirit, family and lifestyle. Following treatment, we help patients explore ways to optimize health to help prevent future illness.

In our program, you will partner with practitioners and explore optimal nutrition, the proper use of vitamins and supplements, and have the opportunity to experience select complementary therapies that can safely be used alongside the excellent conventional medical care you are receiving, including acupuncture, yoga, and massage therapy.

Our clinic is on the campus of Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte’s Elizabeth neighborhood. The location is convenient to uptown, Eastover, Myers Park, Plaza Midwood, Dilworth and surrounding communities.
