As a registered dietitian, I love helping others make small decisions that add up to big changes. I do this primarily by coaching people on how to make incremental shifts in their diet to improve their well-being now and reduce their long-term risk of chronic illness.

As someone who struggled with body image and health issues growing up, I know how difficult this can be. Yet over time, I was able to change my relationship with food and gain energy, strength and confidence. I decided to study nutrition and dietetics so I could help others live healthier without having to go through all the difficulties I faced. I know I can help you get there.

My specialty is helping patients with obesity and obesity-related conditions, such as diabetes and heart disease, as well as those with gastrointestinal issues. I also specialize in helping Spanish-speaking patients as a certified bilingual provider. This allows me to build trust and establish a level of comfort with patients for whom English is a second language.

I attended college in Utah and became president of an affiliate of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, which sets educational standards for registered dietitians. I moved to Winston-Salem from Utah in 2020 with my husband and son. I enjoy cake decorating, dancing and hiking.
