Family nurse practitioner Elizabeth Nelson transitioned to family medicine after spending much of her career as an inpatient nurse allowing her to develop ongoing relationships with her patients. She is glad to be able to provide acute care as well as invaluable health screenings and education to her patients and their families. Elizabeth has a special interest in helping patients living with chronic conditions and finds chronic disease management to be one of the most challenging and rewarding areas of her practice. Elizabeth enjoys hiking with her yellow lab, boating and spending time at the beach in Charleston with her family. She also loves watching Clemson football and traveling, including making medical mission trips.
