Novant Health Cancer Institute – Carolinas Shores is solely devoted to gynecologic oncology, meaning we understand not only the medical issues you are facing, but the physical and emotional toll a gynecologic cancer diagnosis can take. We are committed to helping you secure any tests, medical treatments, rehabilitation and other support you may need throughout your life.
Our providers regularly diagnose and treat:
- Ovarian cancer
- Cervical cancer
- Uterine cancer
- Vulvar cancer
- Vaginal cancer
- Cancer of the fallopian tubes
The services we offer include:
- Initial consultations
- Second opinions
- Ordering and scheduling of diagnostic tests, advanced treatments, rehabilitation and other patient support services
- Life-long care for recurrent disease, including follow-up visits after tests, procedures and treatments
Additional services
Our providers also offer complex gynecologic surgeries, when appropriate, for certain benign conditions. Complex surgeries are performed at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
