Area(s) of Interest: Emergency Medicine
Research Project: Evaluating Use of Oral Antihypertensives for Inpatient Treatment of Hypertensive Crisis in Black Patients
Why Novant: I was initially drawn to the variety of rotations available within the community hospital setting and the ability to interact closely with other Novant Health residents, in addition to learners and seasoned providers of various specialties. Throughout the interview process I could feel the comradery within the pharmacy team and knew that every member of the team I spoke with truly cared about their residents’ success and wellbeing. Still today, the support and encouragement I’ve received confirm that Novant Health Rowan was where I was meant to be.
