Program description
At Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center, the focus of our PGY1 pharmacy residency program is to develop clinical pharmacists that are able to provide optimal patient care and improve patient outcomes. Upon graduation the resident should be able to exhibit professional leadership skills, and function as a competent practitioner prepared to work in a variety of pharmacy practice areas and roles. The residency program at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center allows flexibility to meet the needs and interests of each individual resident, while providing a strong clinical foundation. Our community hospital provides multiple opportunities for integration in interdisciplinary teams within the acute care setting.
