The Student Nurse Apprentice Program (SNAP) is a paid, summer internship where students to gain clinical experience by participating in multiple clinical skill experiences. Participants will develop nursing skill sets which will prepare the student to ultimately perform at a higher level of nursing practice.
SNAP is a 10 week summer program. This program allows rising senior nursing students to work with registered nurses or independently as a nursing assistant II (per NCBON) during the summer prior to graduation. The program has been created to assist students in gaining clinical experiences by participating in multiple nursing situations.
