SNAP - The Student Nurse Apprentice Program
SNAP is a 10 week summer program that runs from May through August. This program allows senior nursing students to work side-by-side with registered nurses or independently as a nursing assistant II during the summer prior to graduation. Participants must be certified as a NAI and NAII with the NCBON. SNAP enables students to gain valuable clinical experiences in preparation for the final year of nursing school, as well as provides a competitive edge for admission to the nurse residency program.
