Diverse Suppliers

What makes us different can make us stronger. Ensuring a diverse vendor base in the procurement of our goods and services is not only a smart business decision — it’s a community benefit. That’s why supplier diversity is an integral piece of Novant Health’s commitment to diversity, inclusion and equity. We proactively partner with diverse suppliers to help our workforce and communities achieve their highest quality of life.

By partnering with Novant Health, we’ll help our communities thrive, and your business will grow.

Who qualifies as a diverse supplier?

Diverse suppliers are those that are certified to be at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by one of the following groups.

People with disabilities
Ethnic minorities
Historically underused businesses
LGBTQ+
Small disadvantaged businesses
Veterans/service-disabled veterans
Women

Novant Health does not certify vendors as diverse. Instead, we recognize diverse supplier certification from applicable third-party organizations and government agencies. Please contact these groups to get certified.
