The location is great and I have always been impressed by how caring the staff are. This is my 3rd visit, and I am very thankful for the care I received from the staff and Dr. Newman.

Dr. Newman takes the time to explain and to answer every question and concern we have. He treats us (my husband accompanies me on my appointments} like we are his only appointment for the day. You don't see that much anymore. His staff members are personable and they really make me feel comfortable. I LOOK FORWARD to going to my appointments.

This was our initial visit with Dr. Newman and he took the time to explain things to us and answer any questions we had. He developed a clear plan of care and was empathetic.

Dr. Newman and the entire staff nurses, front desk ladies are always so nice and friendly. They make good through a difficult disease easier to navigate. We love this team.

Everyone was so friendly and made me feel so comfortable. It’s pretty nerve wracking to be referred to the cancer institute; however, everyone made the process as calm and pleasant as they could. I’m sure it must be difficult to work there at times and I never would know because every person was friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Dr Newman and his team at the Balentyne office are the top to what I use to gauge all other health providers that I’ve seen. The information, precise appointments and test schedules are second to none. I have in reality putting my life in Dr Newman’s hand and trust him explicitly. Everyone was so pleasant & accommodating, I expressed my need for an immediate appointment & I was called to come in the next day. I was having a rough time that morning & Nurse Mo gave me the biggest hug. Dr Newman listened until I was finished addressing my concerns & didn’t overwhelm me with treatment options, he go straight to the point with the most effective ways to proceed. My experience was great.

Dr. Newman had ordered tests for me before he even saw me because he had reviewed my chart from other doctors the night before. I have never had a doctor do this before, and I was really impressed. He explained everything clearly to me, and the entire staff was friendly and kind.

Professional and caring.

Dr. Newman was amazing. It was very clear he had studied my chart and was very prepared for my visit. He even asked about procedures that happened 20 years ago (without me bringing them up) to ensure he fully understood my medical history. I felt listened too, understood, and respected. It was evident he was in no rush to leave and wanted to make sure I understood what he saw and how he would follow up with me as lab work returned. He is an excellent doctor who clearly cares about his patients.
