Novant Health Foundation Thomasville Medical Center

The Foundation is the conduit through which you can easily donate in a variety of ways. Your contributions can provide medical care for people who need your help, support continuing education for providers, and fund community health education programs like StrokeSense, which raised awareness about the warning signs of stroke.

Foundation donors have made a huge difference in people’s lives by helping us to meet needs such as scholarships for the Willie Wheezer Asthma Camp for Children, Cinemavision devices to reduce claustrophobia for patients having an MRI, medicine for poor patients when they’re discharged, and scholarships for needy cardiac rehabilitation participants.

Ways you can donate to the Foundation include:

  • Unrestricted gifts, which give us flexibility to meet our most critical needs.
  • Restricted gifts designated for a specific area such as cancer, chaplaincy, nursing or hospice.
  • Commemorative gifts, which honor or memorialize a family member or friend* or a caregiver whose compassion and kindness made a difference during your own hospital stay.
  • Endowed gifts of $25,000 or more, where you can designate only the income of a fund to be used for the purposes you select.
  • Pledges by which you can spread your gift over a number of years.
  • Matching gifts by companies that double, or even triple, the amount of your individual gift. Please check with your company to see if it offers matching gift programs.
  • Gifts of assets including stocks, bonds, real estate, and personal property such as artwork, automobiles and jewelry.
