Improving Access to Quality Care
Novant Health exists to improve the health of communities, one person at a time. We accomplish our mission by providing excellent healthcare facilities, physician practices and clinical services, and by reaching out into our neighborhoods.
Our 26,000 employees and physician partners are working to transform healthcare for the people we serve:
  • Presbyterian Hospital offers the Community Care Cruiser mobile clinic that provides primary and preventive care to underserved children in Charlotte and the surrounding area.
  • Brunswick Community Hospital and the Brunswick Public Health Department are working together to expand pediatric and maternity services in the county.
  • Today's Woman Health and Wellness Center was established by Forsyth Medical Center to address premature births in a high-risk population. Today the center provides primary and pediatric care under a social empowerment model to improve the health of women and children in several neighborhoods of Winston-Salem.
  • Thomasville Medical Center donates healthcare resources and support for Davidson Medical Ministries, a free clinic helping the uninsured and other people struggling financially in Davidson County.
  • Rowan Regional Medical Center is partnering with Food Lion and the Rowan County School System to offer an adolescent obesity program in local elementary schools.
