MAKOplasty is a bone-sparing procedure for partial knee replacement. We’re one of the few medical centers in the Washington, DC, metro area to offer MAKOplasty.
We also offer advanced spine techniques, including the new mild® procedure, which requires only a tiny incision to treat lumbar spinal stenosis. We were the first medical center in the Washington, DC, metro area to offer the mild procedure and still the only one in northern Virginia.
Your comfort during treatment is paramount. Our dedicated orthopedic nursing unit features all private suites with special pressure-relief beds and sofas that can be easily converted to beds for overnight guests. Following your procedure, we’ll get you started right away with personalized rehabilitation in the orthopedic gym located near your room on the unit. Outpatient rehabilitation is also conveniently located on-site and is also available at our Haymarket campus at Novant Health Heathcote Health Center
