When you can’t do it alone,
we can help
If you or a loved one is struggling with psychiatric problems or chemical dependency, having access to high-quality treatment programs can make all the difference. It is important to have personalized and compassionate care that can empower you and help you regain control of your daily life. The team of behavioral health specialists at Novant Health Prince William Medical Center is dedicated to providing high-quality inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance abuse treatments. We have been ranked as one of the nation’s best psychiatric institutions by U.S. News and World Report; but more importantly, we have been helping adults, seniors, adolescents and children, in northern Virginia, with behavioral health issues live better lives.
Our inpatient services specialize in identifying and stabilizing behavioral issues for adults. We provide individualized care that will help you transition back to work, community and family life.
Sometimes, people suffering from acute psychiatric disorders or substance abuse are unable to live independently because they pose a danger to themselves or others. In these cases, our 32-bed adult inpatient hospitalization program is here to provide advanced care. We also provide medical alcohol detox, group milieu therapy and active psychiatric treatment in this unit. The unit has several tools to address behavioral issues that patients may present and includes a state-of-the-art comfort room for relaxation and a tranquility garden that promotes environmental health.
