In addition to providing inpatient care, the board-certified physicians of Novant Health Pulmonary and Critical Care provide technologically-advanced diagnostic services as well as many treatments on an outpatient basis. Their expertise includes asthma, emphysema, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), chronic bronchitis, obstructive sleep apnea, occupational lung disease, pneumonia, lung cancer and pulmonary hypertension.
To speed your recovery, Presbyterian Medical Center has a comprehensive pulmonary rehabilitation program. The program is tailored to your specific needs; to improve your strength, endurance and breathing ability through exercise and education.

Classes are held at Novant Health Heart & Vascular Institute's prevention clinic, a state-of-the-art facility with a large indoor track and a variety of training equipment located across from Presbyterian Medical Center at 125 Baldwin Ave., Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28204.
Most insurance plans cover our program costs and Medicare now covers up to 30 sessions of pulmonary rehabilitation.
