International Women's Health Summit
The Maya Angelou International Women’s Health Summit is a multinational collaboration dedicated to highlighting and improving the health of women around the world. National and international participants will engage in two days of dialogue, planning and networking in response to keynote and panel presentations. Together, we can create conversations and develop strategies to help make women’s health a global priority.
A few of the topics to be covered include maternal and infant mortality, cross-cultural differences in women’s health, women and The Affordable Care Act, global obesity, the impact of war and conflict on women’s health, and much more.
The conference will be held November 20 and 21 at the Novant Health Conference Center located on the campus of Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.

Accreditation and CME information
Novant Health is the continuing medical education (CME) provider for this activity.
Novant Health is accredited by the North Carolina Medical Society (NCMS) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Credit designation statement
Novant Health designates this live activity for a maximum of 14 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of the participation in the activity.
The North Carolina Board of Nursing and Continuing Competence requirements
The North Carolina Board of Nursing (NCBON) will accept CMEs that are issued to nurses to meet the Continuing Competence requirements. If audited, the nurse would need to show a copy of certification showing the CME and hours issued. The nurse does not need to get prior approval to take CMEs.
