Urgent care centers provide a wide-range of short-term treatment services with extended day and weekend hours. This means you don’t have to make an appointment or wait until “normal business hours” to get quality healthcare.
Our board-certified family medicine and emergency medicine doctors, physician assistants and nurse practitioners are specially trained in emergency and family medicine. We provide the convenience of a walk-in clinic with the expert care we are known for. In addition to providing care for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, we may also provide:

- Pre-employment exams
- Immunization and flu shots
- Workers’ compensation care
- Fitness for duty evaluations
- Urine, drug or blood alcohol testing
- Occupational therapy assistance

Novant Health Express
Express clinics offer convenient walk-in care, with extended weekday and weekend hours, to treat common illnesses and minor injuries for those ages two and older.
A nurse practitioner or physician assistant can diagnose and treat medical conditions, prescribe needed medications, conduct work and sports physicals and provide wellness screenings and vaccinations. Novant Health physicians provide medical supervision.
Express clinics are not equipped with X-ray machines and staff does not conduct any invasive exams, set broken bones or apply stitches. The clinics can perform "point-of-care" tests such as cholesterol screening, rapid strep tests or blood glucose screening.
