your sleep issue

Your doctor will then review the information with you (and your bed partner, if possible) to best understand your sleep habits. We may also perform a brief physical examination. Often, this is enough information to make a preliminary diagnosis and recommend a course of treatment for your sleep issue.
Sleep study - If your doctor is unable to diagnose your sleep condition based on the sleep habit information you provided, he or she may refer you for a sleep study. This type of overnight test can provide a much more comprehensive picture of your sleep patterns. Learn more about our sleep studies »
