Continuous commitment towards surgical care improvement

To help reduce the risk of wound infection following a surgery, it is important that patients get the right medicines at the right time on the day of their surgery. Novant Health tracks appropriate care measures (ACM) to help reduce infection rates and increase the quality care patients receive during all stages of surgery. The ACM is a patient-centered composite score that captures whether or not a patient received all of the recommended treatments.
