E-visits: online diagnosis and treatment

We understand you don't always have time to go to your doctor's office. That's why Novant Health offers e-visits, which allow you to electronically communicate with your provider—no matter where you are. This convenient and affordable feature will improve access to care for patients suffering from cough, red eye, diarrhea, sinus problems, vaginal discharge or urinary issues. Patients suffering from one of these conditions can simply fill out an online questionnaire, submit it to a provider and receive a recommended course of treatment—without ever having to step foot in the doctor's office.

To participate in an e-visit, please follow these simple steps:
  • Log into your MyChart account.
  • Select Get Medical Advice in the Message Center.
  • Click Begin an e-visit.
  • Accept the e-visit terms and conditions.
  • Fill out a symptom questionnaire and submit it to your provider.
  • Your provider will review the questionnaire, confirm an e-visit is needed and determine course of treatment.

Please visit MyNovant.org, or call your provider, to request a secure activation code for your MyChart account.
