Paying your bill

Managing your bills after receiving care can be overwhelming. It’s common to have several different providers participate in your care. Afterwards, you may receive separate invoices from each of those providers.

We understand the added stress this can cause and are here to help. We offer patient financial services to help you understand your bill and make the payment process easier. For more information about paying your bill, call our billing center Monday through Friday, between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., at toll-free 1-888-844-0080.

For your convenience, we accept most forms of payment including cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards. You can also make payments online.

Health insurance plans

In most cases, we will bill your primary health insurance company directly. If we haven't heard from your insurer after 30 to 45 days, we may ask for your help in contacting them. Amounts that are denied, rejected or unpaid may become your responsibility, depending on your plan type and benefits. Learn more about our accepted insurance plans.

Health insurance card checklist

Beyond your name and policy number, your insurance card contains important information. We have compiled a checklist of questions to review before arriving that will help simplify the admission process. Click here to find out what you should know about your health insurance before you arrive.

Medicare

If you have Medicare, we will bill it first and then bill unpaid amounts to any supplemental insurance policies you may have. All unpaid balances may become your responsibility depending on your plan type and benefits.

Self-pay options and financial assistance for the uninsured

Any patient is eligible for an individual payment plan based on the amount due and the patient's financial status, with terms extending up to five years. We provide free care to uninsured patients with incomes of up to 300 percent of the federal poverty level, with 100 percent write-off. Any patient with a balance more than 20 percent of their gross annual income is eligible for a catastrophic settlement.

Financial navigator services

Our financial navigator service provides help estimating your insurance coverage and out-of-pocket expenses acquired while receiving care at our hospital. One of our financial navigators will ask you about your insurance and medical procedure then provide you with an estimate of the procedure's cost as well as payment options.

Accessing the service is quick and easy. To contact one of our financial navigators, call toll-free 1-888-277-3901 Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Voice mail is available for after-hours and weekend calls.
