Opportunities for young people

If you are age 18 or older and wish to volunteer on a regular basis, please contact us. You can volunteer to serve at any of several locations, performing a variety of interesting tasks, including taking baby photos, working in the emergency department or comfort rounds to inpatient rooms, helping with clerical duties, guest services and assisting in our gift or thrift shop.

In addition to regular assignments volunteers can also assist in fund raising events such as annual bazaars, jewelry sales and the Circle of Lights memorial service through our program Helping Hands.

Volunteer programs are organized for college students age 18 to age 25 who are enrolled in an undergraduate program and for teens age 16 to age 18 (the teen program is only available at Prince William Medical Center in Manassas). For complete information and application materials, please call us at 703-369-8173 or learn more about volunteering at Prince WIlliam Medical Center.
