Hyperbaric medicine

Hyperbaric oxygen is a treatment often used if you have diabetic ulcers, post radiation burns, post-surgical wounds, skin grafts or infection of the bone. Your entire body is exposed to 100-percent oxygen under increased pressure, which increases and speeds up the healing of the wound. It is generally prescribed in conjunction with other forms of treatment.
