How do I begin using Novant Health Pharmacy?
If you are a new patient, drop by any of our pharmacy locations with your prescriptions. We will collect your insurance information and set you up as a patient. You can also ask your doctor to send your next prescription to a Novant Health Pharmacy location. If you have prescriptions at another pharmacy, you can call our customer service and

How do I get started with home delivery?
If you are a new patient, simply complete the New Patient Enrollment Form on our website. Mail (or drop off) your prescriptions to Novant Health Pharmacy, 255 Charlois Boulevard, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. If you are an existing patient, you'll have an option to choose home delivery when ordering your next refill. Our customer service staff is available to assist with your home delivery enrollment and transferring your existing prescriptions over the phone. Call us toll-free today at 888-718-9044.
Can non-employees use Novant Health Pharmacy?
Novant Health Pharmacy locations are open to the public. We accept all major insurance plans and offer very competitive pricing. We welcome all new patients.
Can I use Novant Health Pharmacy services even if I don't go to a Novant Health doctor?
Yes. Tell your doctor you want to have your medications filled at one of our Novant Health Pharmacy locations.
How do I get my medication refilled?
You have several options. Use the online refill page on our website 24 hours a day, use our mobileRx service from your phone, visit one of our locations, or call our customer service toll-free at 1-888-718-9044 and we'll get your refill order started.
If your doctor has not approved additional refills on your existing medication, we will contact him or her on your behalf. We'll take care of it all. If you are a Novant Health MyChart user, you can request additional refills and ask your doctor to send
them to the Novant Health Pharmacy of your choice, via the mobile app or website.
Can I order my refills from my phone?
Yes. Our mobileRx service is available on any phone with access to the Internet. It is a web page, not an app. Therefore, is accessible from both iPhones and Android phones. Click here to learn more about the mobileRx service.
How do I know when my medication is ready?
Sign up for email or text alerts and receive notification when your order has shipped or is ready for pickup. You can also choose to receive a courtesy phone call when your order has shipped.
What if I don't have insurance?
We offer very competitive pricing for those that have no medication insurance. We also have a list of over 150 $4 generic / common medications that we offer at deep discounts.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, FSA and HRA cards. Some locations also accept Discover.
How does payroll deduction work?
We offer the convenience of payroll deduction for Novant Health employees – so you don't have to worry if you have enough cash for your prescription co-pay. We can charge your medication co‐pay to your payroll account and the co‐pay amount is deducted from your next paycheck. We can also set up your spouse and dependents to your payroll deduction account.

Do I have to pay extra to have my medications mailed to me?
Absolutely not! We are happy to offer all of our patients free home delivery service by USPS first class mail. We can also notify you when we've shipped and provide you with a tracking number so you know exactly when to expect your delivery.
How long does it take to get my prescriptions delivered to my home?
We recommend you allow 7 to 10 days to process your order – this allows time if your prescription needs additional information or we need to contact your doctor.
Can I pick up a 90-day supply of my medication without using home delivery?
Yes, our Novant Health Pharmacy at 255 Charlois Boulevard, Winston-Salem, NC can fill your 90-day supply for pickup or home delivery. We can also contact your doctor to request your 30-day refill be converted to a 90-day supply.
What if I have a medication question?
We have state-licensed pharmacists available to answer your medication questions, which is another benefit for allowing us to fill all your medication needs.
