American College of Cardiology PCI Measures
The American College of Cardiology's CathPCI Registry is a national, risk-adjusted, outcomes-based quality improvement program under the auspices of the National Cardiovascular Data Registry (NCDR)
. The CathPCI Registry is in use at more than 60 percent of our nation's cardiac catheterization labs. The Registry measures outcomes of patients undergoing diagnostic catheterizations and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs). By participating in the CathPCI Registry, Novant Health hospitals and cath labs can measure performance in diagnosing and treating patients against similar comparison groups and national benchmarks. The Registry is recognized by The Joint Commission and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
